The Production Machine Operator provides support in areas of assembly, laser welding, packaging, EDM production, inspection, secondary processing and stamping.  Performs the assembly of multiple, miniature to small, parts to produce a finished product.  Also, possess the ability to learn and use different types of machines such as; laser welders, single stage presses, and robotics.  Must accurately perform and complete inspections, sorting, and packing of parts. 

First shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

Second shift 2:00 pm to 12:30 am Monday - Thursday

  • Operates assembly equipment as defined
  • Performs visual inspections and able to pick out defects
  • Assists in maintaining KanBan levels
  • Assists in packaging of product
  • Performs secondary operations including cleaning, tumbling, and passivation.

Minimum Experience/Education/Certification Requirements

1st shift (day/weekdays with weekend overtime occasionally available)

 2nd shift (four ten hour shifts with weekend overtime occasionally avaialble)

  • Accurately inputs data in the job tracking software
  • Completes in process inspection checks and accurately documents the results
  • Ensure the correct program is loaded for laser and robot equipment
  • Accurately load parts in fixture for laser and robot operation
  • Accurately load parts in fixture and operate single stage press
  • Use inspection equipment and visual standards to inspect, sort and package parts
  • Cross trained in secondary processing areas which includes sets up and operation deburring and cleaning equipment
